Hi Phil,
Totally! It’s a long time ago now, but as I recall it, the brief was purely based on a list of species – not geographic location – and I (wrongly, it turned out) thought that given Trevor was a noted sea fisher, I would do the saltwater species: whoops. Sadly, I was never afforded the opportunity to put that right. A shame really. Even Trevor didn’t notice. So well done you for noticing……Artistic license can stretch just so far!!!!

I hope though, it didn’t detract from the enjoyment of the rest of it.

I have just finished reading the book The Illustrated Angler illustrated by yourself text by Trevor Housby. Chapter 17 is entitled South American Dorado. Your accompanying picture is of a salt water Dorado which is quite different. Was this a mistake please?
