Happy 2009. I am replying to your blog to let peoplew know that your website is viewed in Southern California. I also wanted to see snow and people bundled up in Barbour jackets freezing their butts off. You will be in the frozen East Coast soon enough.

Having just endured train hell from Shrewsbury to London via the Chilterns…with the odd snow flake…enough layers to keep an Outdoor store salivating for months at the sales potential, Southern California seems like heaven. And the best bit is, that it is so cold we can’t even go fishing…oh the joys.
Oh! and Barbours,as delightfully retro as they might appear to be, are utterly redundant in this temperatures. Personally, I would far rather snuggle into a warm Patagonia fleece with oodles of layers….. under. For a true understanding of our current climate, turn to Winnie the Pooh – “the House at Pooh Corner” Chapter 1 – then you will see what we are about….. Brrrr Adios.
